Zbigniew graduated in 1973 from Politechnika Warszawska with an MS in Aviation Engineering. After graduating, he served as the head of the Aircraft Technology Department with the Polish Aeroklub, also serving as a technical expert for the Polish Ministry of Cummunication's GKBWL (Główna Komisja Badania Wypadków Lotniczych). He taught Aeronautical Construction at the Warsaw Liceum Lotniczym. He holds a pilot's license and served as the Technical Chief of the Polish National Aeronautical and Glider Acrobatic Team.  

After moving to the United States in 1978, Zbigniew founded U.S. Financial Ltd., specializing in accounting and financial advice -- as well as mortgage, real estate, and insurance brokerage. Zbigniew appears on a twice-weekly radio program entitled "Magazyn Kieszen," broadcast on WNVR 1300AM and WPNA 1490AM, as well as a weekly television program, "Z Finansowego Zycia Wzięte," on Polvision. 

In addition to his career, Zbigniew serves on the boards of several Polish-American cultural and charitable organizations and sponsors various artistic and sporting events, for which he was awarded by the government of the Republic of Poland the Medal za Zasługi dla Kultury. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Polish American Symphony Orchestra (PASO). A long-time supporter of Dar Serca, he was a member of the committee to build the Dar Serca headquarters in Schiller Park, IL. He served one term as President of The Society of Friends of the John Paul II Foundation and is a long-time committee member. He is a member of the economic commission of the Chicago Jesuit Mission and a member of the advisory committee responsible for building the Jezuicki Ośrodek Milenijny and was awarded the "2017 Philanthropic Award" by the Polish American Congress. 

Zbigniew lives in Glenview, IL with his wife of 46 years, Helena Karas.  He has three children and three grandchildren.  

Helena studied Economics at the Akademia Ekonomiczna Wroclawska and graduated from the University of Warsaw School of Journalism in 1977. After graduation, she worked in Warsaw at the Komitet Radio i Telewizji as a journalist.  

After moving to the United States in 1978, Helen started her almost 40 year career in Real Estate with Caldwell Banker at their first office on the northwest side of Chicago. 

In addition to her career, Helen is a member of the Polish Women's Alliance and she is active in fundraising for Dar Serca and the Polish American Symphony Orchestra.

Agatha Weisser serves as US Financial’s Vice President of Lending. She supervises the company’s day-to-day mortgage operations including processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing issues. Agatha graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Finance from the College of Business Administration. She was born and raised in Chicago and currently resides in Lake Forest, IL with her husband and two children.

John Weisser is Vice President of Insurance Services for U.S. Financial, Ltd. and provides insurance based solutions to his client’s evolving financial planning challenges. His primary efforts focus on using Long Term Care coverage, Life Insurance, Disability and Annuity products to fulfill the needs of his clients. In addition to being a licensed Illinois Insurance Producer, John is also an Illinois Public Insurance Adjuster, Licensed Real Estate Broker, a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois and Chicago Association of Realtors.

Before coming to U.S. Financial in 2009, John was a Media Strategist and Buyer for Starcom Worldwide, where he developed branding and media campaigns for clients such as Allstate, Bass Pro Shops, Luxottica and Bally Total Fitness. Originally from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, John is a 2004 Graduate of Marquette University’s College of Communication.

He is a father of two boys and has been married to his wife, Agatha, for thirteen years. Outside of his work at U.S. Financial, John is active with several philanthropic organizations, and local groups.

Victor is Vice President of Tax & Accounting at U.S. Financial and he uses his Enrolled Agent and Investment Advisor Representative* designations to help our clients pursue their financial goals.  He specializes in tax planning, IRS representation, and investment planning*.

With twelve years of experience in taxation and accounting at U.S. Financial in Des Plaines, Victor became affiliated with Avantax Investment Services in 2011 to offer full service brokerage and investment advisory services*.  Avantax is one of the largest independent broker dealers that focus on tax intelligent financial planning. 

 Victor graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana with a dual degree in Economics and Finance.  Additionally, he holds a Master of Finance degree from Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, where he specialized in energy market finance at the Tulane Energy Institute.
